My friend Liz (aka, Bunny) got me addicted to it. i dont have cable so no Nick for me. She was awesome enough to give me season 1 & 2 on my ipod. And so i watched 1 eppie everyday during my lunch break. After the 1st season... i was watching 2-3 episodes a day until i ran out of eppies!! OH noooeeess!!!

And then....season 3 is JUST airing now so its so painful!! Arrgh! I love it.

when i drew this, i had finished season 2 of avatar. And season 3 hadn't come out yet. But i saw the previews of it.... here's a short story where my characters COULD come in. xD LOL

Aang had been brought down by that Azula bitch. And so Katara and the others ran off in defeat. Sadly.

Everyone thought he was dead yadda yadda. Some time passed and Aang awoke from his unconciousness (sp?) he also woke up with hair! (hee hee) Um...lets just say that he and the gang were taken in by refugee earth benders.

Anywho....the gang agreed that they NEEDED to find a fire bender teacher for Aang. They knew that Iroh was a nice guy that had been betrayed by his own nephew. So they said, "lets help him escape from prison and he can teach Aang fire bending. Or help us look for a teacher"

great idea guys. but how do we get in the dungeon with all those guards? AND how do we know where he's at exactly?

A random old earth-nation guy overheard their dillemma and told them a legend about an earth bender who escaped from the fire nation dungeon and is now living a hidden life in the forest. Supposedly the earth bender also helped others escape a few times because he knew the dungeon so well. The old man pointed the gang in the direction of a scary forest.

The gang walked along tired-ly. Until Toph scenced someone earth bending. "it must be him!" they ran towards the direction toph signaled and sneaked up when they got closer. They saw a girl raising the earth and pounding it. She was making a small pond ....and there was a garden that seemed she was tending to. Sokka stepped up and greeted her. To which the girl gasped and threw a chunk of earth at his face as she ran off.

She ran quickly as Aang pleaded, "wait! hold on!!" She raised a huge piece of earth and dissappeared inside it. "Come back!" Aang used his earth bending to raise the earth she had just lifted and found himself struggling. It wasnt until toph lifted it up herself that the girl yelled, "WHAT DO YA WANT!?"

They explained their situation. The girl said, "Oh...that's not me actually. I've never set foot in fire nation.... but uh....my husband has."
"your husband?" Aang said
"Y..yes. He's not home now. but he will be soon."
"thats great! we'll wait for him."
Sokka noticed that the girls face was awkward when she spoke of hr husband. And being as paranoid as he is quickly told katara about it.

Suddenly, Appa started roaring in fear. The forest was full of weird creepy ...HUNGRY animals that would love him for lunch. Appa pounded the earth-made house and caused alot of the furniture to fall, dishes to break, and total the inside of the house. The girl suggested to take Appa in to the back. Where there was a giant wall keeping them safe. Kinda like a corral. Aang offered to help her. And so they stepped outside. Leaving Katara, Sokka, and Toph inside.

Sokka asked Toph if she thought the girl was acting weird. Toph replied, "No...she's telling the truth...but she is kinda nervous about something....like when she was talking about her husband" Toph suddenly stopped and pointed towards the door. "Someones coming!!" Katara looked up. "Maybe...its her husband..."

The door opened slowly as a fire nation soldier stepped in.

The trio yelled. "Fire Nation!!!" They prepared themselves for battle. "what's going on here?!" the fire soldier yelled back. Toph was the first to attack. As the Fire soldier jumped out of the way, Katara whipped him with her water. The soldier attacked back with his fire bending. "Who are you people!?" he yelled. Katara glared at him and was about to unleash some water kick assing when the girl rushed in screaming "STOP!!" and created a wall barrier between them.

The gang was surprised. "What.... ?"
She pressed the earth wall back down and said, "this is my husband."

"WHHHHAAAAAATTT!??!?!" they all gasped.
Momo looked around eating a peach.

The girl explained how long ago, as a child, the fire nation killed her parents. Her parents protected her by creating a cave for her to hide in. She lived in the cave for almost a year, until her food supply began to run out. She then began to travel until she came to this forest and she made her new home here. She lived in this forest for the longest time. And knew it very well... she never had contact with anyone until one day.

She was going to fetch water at the lake when she saw an injured boy lying uncouncious (sp?) in the lake. She approached him and saw that he was still alive. She took him back home and treated his wounds. The boy woke up after some days and asked where he was. The girl explained what happened. They talked and laughed and bonded... They ate together. And took walks together. For the first time, the girl had a companion. And she was very happy.

And yet...they both kept secrets from each other.

It was a cold morning and the girl woke up very sick. The boy knew it was a fever and quickly gathered up some herbs and water to cure her. The girl said she was VERY cold an asked if the boy could make a fire. The boy was not skilled at fire making because he always 'made' his own fire and he was not thinking when he fire bended the stove. And so the girl found out that he was from fire nation. She stood up and trying running away. She began to cry, "Fire nation killed my parents!! I hate you!! I hate you!!!"
The boy walked up slowly with open arms to hug her.
"DONT TOUCH ME!" she yelled, and without thinking she lifted a piece of earth and threw it at him.
The boy quickly dodged and looked at her, "Y...Youre an earth bender?!"
The girl sobbed as the boy came up to her and hugged her. "I was lying to you too..." she said. As she fainted.

She woke up the next morning in her bed. The fire in the stove was giving up and there was no sign of the fire nation boy. She tried to remember what happened after she threw that rock at him. She looked around and found a note from him. He said in the note, "thank you for your kindness. im sorry the pain you have gone thru by yourself. i have also gone thru many hardships on my own. if you would let me...i would like to be with you always. So you will never be alone."

She cried as she read the letter and stepped outside. Expecting to find him. But there was no one.

She waited for him. And waited. Hours turned into days. And days into weeks. She began to feel lonely and her heart hurt.

One day, the boy came back riding a Ostrich-Lizard (i unno...the one that Zuko rode) he was also dressed up in a fire nation soldier uniform. The girl was afraid. But the boy assured her that he did this for her protection. "i will take care of you and make sure no one hurts you." he said "i took this job so i can live outside the fire nation walls and have soldier benefits." He took her hand and held it, "so will you let me stay?" The girl replied, "Yes!" "And will you be my wife?" he asked her. The girl cried and hugged him, "Yes."

"And thats how it went...." the girl finished her story.
"That was a beautiful story... " katara said. "Your love is pure because even though you are completely different, and from different worlds....you truly love each other deeply."
"Sappy.... " Sokka mumbled.
"The fire nation could learn alot from you guys..." Aang said.
"Although i work for the fire lord, he would VERY much dissapprove of this marriage." the soldier said. "But enough about us... why did you come here for?"

Aang was surprised. "thats right!! We forgot!"
Aang explained the situation. How he was defeated and how he needs to learn fire bending soon. How Iroh was betrayed by his nephew and how they need to get in the dungeon to get him out.

The soldier agreed to help. But also warned of the dangers. He asked them to stay overnight so he would be able to bring some blueprints of the dungeon and then they would be able to form a plan.

The next day, the soldier came back with the plans. He also came with some common fire nation clothes. "You need to blend in" he said and handed them a set of clothes.
"This is so cool!" Sokka said admiring himself in the mirror.
"Um... why is there only one set for girls?" Katara asked.
"Hmmm? Arent you the ONLY girl?" the soldier asked.
"WHAT!?" Toph yelled pissed
Katara whispered, "She's a girl..."
"I see... " the soldier was nervous.

They began to formulate a plan and talked about it, into the night. The next day they would infiltrate the dungeon and help Iroh escape!
