Pirates....

i never thought i'd be one of THOSE people who likes pirates only because they love POtC.

Oh well..... Pirates are cool! LOL GTG BBQ!

OK ENOUGH....

i dont know how this came up....i just started drawing...and i really really wanted to make my own piratey costume for Runee. So i did.

Anywho... this Runee is from an alternate reality. (in other words... 'No Worries' characters have different lives and/or they might not exist....they might have some of the same characteristics....but not really.... whatever... alternate reality... alternate storyline.)

NO....im not making another series.... god no.
But i do want to make a short story of sorts.

Like this one.... on which a poor girl named Runee lives in the small town of WickerVille. She works as a waitress at a local bar. WickerVille is a quite little town by the sea, which makes most of it's money selling fish and crabs.

One day, pirates came and caused a ruckus. They began pilaging (spell?) and causing mayhem, as all pirates do. Their captain, Reina, ordered for all men to be brought forth to her, so she can find herself another slave to her ship.

She was smitten by the handsome face of Runee's brother, Angel. Whom was forced to board the ship and become part of the crew or else they would hurt and/or kill Runee, just because she didn't get her way.

Runee cried for help. Was there no one brave enough to take them on? As her brother was forced onto the ship, she snapped and ran towards Captain Reina. She threw a mug full of rum onto her face. Captain Reina turned.....and threw a punch.


Hours later.....
Runee woke up in a daze... her clothes were bloody and she smelled of rum. Her face hurt and she was just miserable...Her brother was gone. Her only family.

The next day... she went back to work.... she realized that her face was bruised so she put her hair down and wore a large hat. She was attending to a stranger when all of a sudden he asked, "that's a nasty bruise.... how'd you get it darling?"

She looked up at him and saw a man with a pink hair. He looked an awful lot like a pirate.... but cleaner.

"Oh well....this was from.... a ...." she began
Runee stared at him....if he was a pirate.... maybe..... he can help her find another pirate!

"S....Sir!! There was this pirate.... Reina! and.... she took my brother! Can't you help me find her? I promise to be a part of your crew for life! Please! Let me!!!"
"You?! A pirate?" he asked "you couldn't even defend yourself! Just look at the outcome of your face! HAHAHAHA!"

Runee became upset and turned away...ready to run into a sprint, when he grabbed her wrist.
"Oh...now wait.... my apologies darling...i didnt know you were that soft. But even though they are bruises.... i must admit i fancy them. At least they make you look like a pirate."

Runee's face flushed.... she didnt know why.... was this a compliment or an insult?!

"Well.....it doesn't matter eh" he said as he stood up. "I cannot make a wench like you part of my crew... let alone be my bride."
"B...bride?!" She thought "Wait... WENCH?!"
"I'll only make experienced pirates part of me ship. No newbies"
"Oh but please!" She cried out.... she bowed before him. "Please sir.....Captain..... please.....I'll do anything..."
He looked down on her and crouched to her level.

"Now darling.... you need to train. You must join a dingy crew. Like a ....fishboat....or...the navy seals. This'll give you sea legs. All in the while...you will become strong. Practice by getting into meaningless fights. It's usually easy when someone's had too much rum. So drink it!"
He stood up, and helped her up. He took off a necklace he wore and said "Listen now....this belongs to me."

He placed the necklace in her hands.
"when you have finished this task....and have become strong enough. Steal a ship. Get a crew. Name it. And come look for me."
She looked at the necklace
"Wh...what's this for?"
"This was mine when i was a child. It made me strong....and it made me who i am. Surely it can help you."

A ship's horn could be heard in the distance along with yelling.

"That be me ship darling." He bowed and put on his hat. "I must be leaving you now."
Runee stared blanky at him. "Oh.....oh WAIT! How will I find you?!"
"Just ask for me darling!? All pirates know where the others are."
"But but.... whats your name!?" she asked.
He turned back and smiled. "Mika. " He turned around and left towards his ship.

Runee stared as he boarded the ship and sailed slowly away...

"Mika..... ? Could he be ..... my....... pirate prince....?"
