I'm really proud of this one.....out of all the pirate ones i've made. Weee!! xd

i am even MORE proud of it because Mikaeru-Sama approved of it. And he is my biggest critic. x3 so ja.....

Both crews stared at their captains. And wondered what "Mika" meant....

Mika shook Runee off and dragged her quickly into his 'captain's quarters'. Shut the door, and pushed her in a chair.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NICKNAME!?" he hissed angrily.
"W....what do you mean? You introduced yourself to me as Mika. I'm Runee from Wickerville. You visited that town some time ago!"
"Wickerville.... that's right...." he backed away from Runee a bit. "But I don't recall giving you the necklace...."
"You gave it to me. You said that if i became a pirate...you would help me find Reina." Runee said.
"Reina? What do you need to find her for?"
"She took my brother!!" She cried. "Don't you remember!?"
He turned around and grabbed a box of cigarettes from his desk drawer. He lit one and started smoking.
Runee looked back at him with a confused face.
"You said! You said that.... I wouldn't be able to defeat Reina unless i became strong and was able to sail the sea!" Runee stood up from her chair. "This is why I'm here. I have a crew... i found you! Now help me find Reina so I can find my brother again!!"
Mikaeru puffed on his cigarette. "That's all you want from me?"
"Yes........"
"Hmm.....? " Mikaeru balanced his weight around. He looked at Runee and asked, "Was.... was i drunk when i gave you that necklace?"
"Huh?" Runee began to think that this wasn't the same pirate prince that swept her off her feet. "Um.... you DID drink that day.... but... I don't know if you were drunk or not."
"You know I've had that necklace for the longest time...." he said, as he walked towards a window and looked out. "It was my first treasure. The first treasure that I stole as a pirate. I've never ONCE taken it off. Pirate code says that a pirate's most valuable possession should ALWAYS be with him"
Runee listened quietly as she stared at him looking out window.
"When I realized that I didn't have my necklace, I assumed I lost it, or it had been stolen from me." he said. He turned around and looked at her. "But I never thought I would give it to someone.... someone like -you-!"
Runee scowled. "W...what does that mean?!" She tightened her fists.
"I mean.... that pirate code says that a pirate's most valuable treasure should ALWAYS be with him." He looked at her. "And I gave you the necklace ....."
Runee looked at the floor quietly. "So you want me to always be with you? Or do you feel that you made a mistake?" She closed her eyes and yelled angrily, "It doesn't matter! I just want to see my brother again!!"
Mika sighed. "You see.... the thing is ...." he kneeled in front of her. "When I get drunk.... I become attracted to females."
Runee opened her eyes and looked at him confused. "Wh...what do you mean?"
"Wenches aren't my cup of tea darling. I don't fancy that kind of love at all..."
"You....you mean you are.... you like.... ?"
"Yes love....... I like men." he said bluntly.
Runee was shocked. Even though the pink hair was a dead give-away. She was still surprised.
"Even when i was drunk and flirty with wenches, i had NEVER given my treasure to any of them!" he put his hand on her head. "Do you understand why i dont understand why i gave it to you?"
"Oh...." Runee's head swimmed with mixed emotions and questions. "Th...then take your necklace back.... "
"Hmmm?" Mika took a puff from his cigarette "But I gave it to you...."
"Look....i just want to rescue my brother!" Tears began to form in Runee's eyes as she yelled, "I don't care about being yours! So just take your stupid necklace OKAY?!" She reached for the necklace around her neck, ripped it off and threw it at him.
Mika caught the necklace. "Come now darling... " he said in a smile. "I never said that I DIDN'T want you with me!"
"What?" Runee said.
"All I said was that I'm surprised that I gave my most valuable possession to a female." he said. He put the necklace back around her neck. "It must be fate don't you think? We must have a bond. A purpose."
Runee was even more confused. Her pirate prince.....he spoke like a prince....but he was NOTHING like the ones in storybooks. This prince had no intentions of ever scoring with her. Could this love be the purest of them all?
"Besides..... " Mika interrupted her thoughts as he pulled her by the rope her wrists were tied to. "Don't you think we make a HELL of a great-looking pirate couple!?"
Runee tried to squirm away from his cigarette's smoke. "Second hand smoke kills ya know.... " she said
"Hmmm..... you're ONE of THOSE people." He released her and put out the cigarette. "Fine....I shall only smoke when YOU are not around."
".......really?" she mumbled, surprised that he respected her concern.
Mika untied her wrists. "We must make an official announcement to our crew. I'll do the honors darling."
"Oh.....okay Mika." Runee said.
"Also.... I must ask a favor of you... " he said.
"What's that?" Runee asked.
"Don't you EVER call me that infront of my men!" he said. "Call me Mikaeru. .... Captain Mikaeru!"
"AH! Uh YES!!! Captain Mikaeru!" She squeaked.
"Wait.... that doesn't sound right.... " he said. He began thinking to himself and then he snapped his fingers. "Call me Mikaeru-Sama... that'll do."
"HAI! Mikaeru-Sama!" Runee said.
"Ha! HA! I love the sound to it!" He said with a giddy voice. He opened the door to his cabin with his arm around Runee's waist. "WENCHES AND PIRATES! PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY NEW WIFE!"

Both crews gasped in shock.

"WE ARE NOW A PAIR, AND HER SHIP IS OUR SISTER. AND WE SHALL SAIL TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE!!" Mikaeru announced to both crews.

Runee's face was bright red as she saw her whole crew glaring at her. She knew that they would NOT approve of this. She knew that she would have to give up on either her ship, or her new pirate prince. She was very much conflicted. But she knew that she would have time to speak this over with her crew.
