Hey Everyone....

Ok so i was at home.....minding my own business.....looking at some youtubeness. and then my mom comes home with my little bro.

And they come in with Church's Chicken and KFC.

Now.... whats wrong with this picture?

and its not because she bought chicken from 2 different restaurants. Thats beside the point.

The point is.....she bought KFC. and i am currently boycotting them.

Whua....? Why? Because it has come to my attention by a simple flyer at work...that KFC abuses their chickens. They say that they are stomped and hurt before they are killed because it tenderizes the meat that makes it tasty and soft.

Although i might agree and admit that i have eaten KFC many a times. And that something like this would not sway me into boycotting a company that is making me food delicious..... the flyer that i saw affected me.

One of my co-workers which i recently found out is a vegan. Put up this little flyer on her window (she has elvis stuff and tons of pictures of her kids) she works in a computer room so...she has a window....it sounds weird but just go with the flow.

In the flyer, it showed a pictured of a battered chicken, lying in its own puddle of blood and feathers. It was horrible....and also another picture of a malicious-looking Colonel holding a terrified chicken whom was also bleeding and flapping its wings in terror. Basically....they are boycotting kfc until they start treating these chickens in a more humane manner. Which is weird because their still gonna kill 'em in the end.

It was horrible..... and i said to myself.... *shudder* i dont want to have ANYthing to do with KFC again!!!

and this is bad....because.... i mean...how do we KNOW that other chickens aren't being killed this way too? And by doing so....am i being a hypocrite because im not eating THEIR chicken...but from elsewhere?

How do i go about this decision?

Well.....i dont think things will change....but that picture just grossed me out. And i cant stand the site of their restaurant or chicken now. *shudder* So i guess.... i will stick to boycotting them. yep.
