I'm finnish, so I don't really have any excuse NOT to have an authentic christmas tree hanging around XD

There's no denying that I tried a real christmas tree and might as well have let a bull into the house. It kept tipping over, and, like you say, it just generally made a mess of pine needles.

So I prefer the fake. We get the scent from Yankee candles. :B

i decided to make this poll because originally, we put up our fake tree after thanksgiving. but when i won a real tree at our x-mas party i tore the fake one down and put the real one up.

and uh.... its pretty and all...but the branches are weak. lol. they cant hold most of the decorations. but the smell!! ahhhh so good and fresh and piney... xD

My mom gets a fake one every year, cuz every year one light goes out on our fake tree, and we can't ever seem to fix it. My sister begged my mom for a real tree this year, but that's cuz she's a 'tard; she doesn't realize that a real tree wouldn't work (we put our tree on top of a table rather than on the floor, so we only have six feet to work with). She also apparently thinks that it's easier to find a real tree than a fake one, which may be the case, since it took my mom, like, three days to find a good fake one...
